AS IS Church, what’s the one word I’d use to describe you? GENEROUS. Everywhere I turn I see people living and loving as folks who’ve truly been transformed by God’s amazing grace! AS IS Church – you’re the real deal!

Here are four qualities that I see in YOU:

  1. You Keep It Simple

You keep it simple and understand that real life is not found in the temporal (building your own little earthly kingdoms), but rather in the eternal (the kingdom of God). You do a great job of keeping God as the first priority in life.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.Matthew 28:18-20

  1. You Live Like Everything Belongs To God

You understand that everything you’ve been blessed with is from God: family, job, money, houses, cars, clothes, and even your kids. It’s obvious you ask yourself, “How can I manage what God has given me to best represent Him?”

Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:20

  1. You Live With An Open Heart

You live with an attitude that thinks about, cares for, and is generous to others (including the poor, weak, and marginalized of society). You know that everyone matters to God therefore everyone matters to you.

God executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. Deuteronomy 10:18

  1. You Live With Open Hands

You keep a loose grip on your earthly possessions because you know you’ve been blessed to be a blessing to others. Just like Jesus, you joyfully give of your time, talent, and treasure. You understand that you cannot out-give God.

God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8-11

Generosity is contagious! Keep it up AS IS Church! This world is being influenced by your loving kindness! The BEST is yet to COME!

I love our church!
