Getting connected at AS IS Church does not mean signing up for everything at once. It means finding your place in this community, at your own pace, in a way that fits your life. Here is how to take the next step.
VOLUNTEER
Show up for your neighbors the way someone once showed up for you.
We have a place for everyone. You do not need a special skill set or a lot of free time. You just need a willing heart.
Ways to serve:
Wednesday night dinners. Help us feed our neighbors every week. Whether you cook, set up, serve, or clean up, every pair of hands matters.
Kids and youth. Our younger community members need safe, caring adults who will show up consistently. If you love kids and teenagers, we need you.
Setup and logistics. Every Wednesday night runs because people behind the scenes make it happen. If you are a details person, this is your spot.
Use your skills. Graphic design, photography, administration, social media, construction, counseling. If you have a skill, there is probably a place for it here. Reach out and let us know what you bring.

PRAYER
We believe prayer changes things. Not as a formality, but as a real conversation with a God who listens.
If you are carrying something, you do not have to carry it alone. Submit a prayer request and someone from our team will pray over it personally. We take this seriously.
Your request can be as specific or as general as you need it to be. Nothing is too big and nothing is too small.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Sometimes life gets complicated and you just need someone to sit with you.
Spiritual direction is not counseling and it is not a Bible study. It is a conversation with someone who will help you pay attention to where God might be in the middle of whatever you are walking through. It is quiet, unhurried, and completely confidential.

Tuesday nights: Youth Bible study. Our youth gather every Tuesday night for Bible study, real conversation, and a light dinner together. A space where teenagers can ask hard questions and find real answers. 5;30-7 pm Open to middle school and high school youth.
Sunday nights: Youth group. Every Sunday night our youth group gathers for community, teaching, a light dinner, and belonging. A dedicated space for teenagers to grow and be known by name. 530-730pm Open to middle school and high school youth.
