Adopt The Rock Director Specific Responsibilities
Because of the very nature of your position, your responsibilities may shift as you develop different areas of your ministry. There are some basic principles that should be a part of your commitment to excellence, these are:
You are the face of AS IS Adopt The Rock. You will be working directly with our Executive Pastor Kelly Elkinton, she will provide oversight, mentorship, and support.

Research:
- Build a team to help you survey the neighbors in Rockwood Village, and as we grow other apartment complexes in the area from 182 nd and Yamhill to 197th and Yamhill.
- Build a form for keeping track of the needs of our neighbors.
- Build and keep a prayer request form, sharing the prayers of our neighbors with the prayer team weekly.
- Build and complete a weekly report form.
- Build your plan for what your weekly outreach will look like.
- Work with Dave Unglert on a promotion packet for your launch date.
- Build relationships with the apartment managers letting them know the plans to come help serve and care for their tenants.
- Build a form for keeping track of the needs of our neighbors.

- Build a team of volunteers to help your outreach and continue to grow your team so that the program can keep expanding.
- Form your team into groups with leaders, weekly to help with the needs.

- Work closely with other ministries to make sure that the needs of our neighbors
are being met.

maybe have Joshua follow up inviting them to Underground or Axis, etc.
- Keep a site map in order to know where we currently have teams, where we expand to next, and in the future.

- Attend Staff Meetings, currently in person on Tuesdays from 1-2 pm
- Give creative input on how we can more efficiently and effectively serve the families at AS IS Church and in our community.
- Plan yearly budget.
- Participate in mutually agreed upon events and activities.
- Perform other duties assigned to further develop Adopt The Rock
- Keep an up-to-date calendar.

REQUIREMENTS;
- Preferred 4 Years College or Ministry Experience
- Be sold out for AS IS Church and their vision and Mission

HOURS
- This is a paid position at 15-20 hours a week.
