Love Shack - If you have a heart for serving our friends on the streets or helping people that are in need of food or clothing, then the Relief Ministries Team is the place for you. We serve through the Love Shack handing out clothing, food, toiletries and the most important of all a heart full of love. The material things we hand out are second to the love and acceptance we share to show people that every one matters to Him and to us. If you are interested in serving out on the streets or in the clothing room (sorting and labeling).
Our laundry events are every other Tuesday 1 to 3 PM

The LOVE SHACK hit the streets of Portland with the love of God. Our highest priority is expressing God’s love through a smile, conversation, and comforting words/actions. We want people to know they are valuable and they Matter! While at the same time providing them with some of their basic needs:
- Something to eat and drink - Dry socks - Warm clothing - Sleeping beds - Sanitary items |
This ministry had Humble Beginnings… borrowing a friend’s trailer and asking for donations. After much prayer and persistence, weekly we serve anywhere from 50-100 people, we have donation coming in daily to help feed and clothe those we serve and we have created relationship and watch people transition off the streets and into housing. Our faithful volunteers have countless stories of how God is working in the lives of those they serve and we have seen in person that all things are possible in Jesus Christ! Prayer, Persistence and Patience has turn this humble begin into a thriving ministry.
