We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Out of this mission, joyful service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
First ImpressionsThe First Impressions Team is the team you first see when you walk through the doors or log on to the live feed. There is a variety of positions, from greeting and ushering, to communicating valuable information online, serving pastries and coffee, helping sell AS IS Gear. The First Impression Team is the host/hostess to greet, welcome, and guide you through your church service. If this interests you, please email [email protected]

Safety Team Our safety team keeps watch during the service, in the lobby, walking the perimeter, and walking throughout the building ensuring that at all times if there is an emergency or crisis, they are on hand and in the area to help out. Safety team members are background checked and are CPR/First Aid trained in case of emergency. If there is a safety incident, they will help you fill out a form. If this interests you, the first thing you need to do is email with your full name and letting them know you are interested in safety so we can get you a background check.

Worship TeamWe are always looking for more people to join the team, people with a heart to glorify God, and not themselves. We are always in search of people that have a team mindset and that are quick to give grace to one another. We also love to laugh and have fun! We would like to find musicians and singers that have basic skills and that are able to commit to a mid-week practice each week. If that is you, we would love to talk to you and hear your heart!

Kids WorldVolunteering for kids ministry gives you the opportunity to change lives.
You are giving the next generation a chance to say, Yes, to a relationship with Jesus!! You get to celebrate milestones, be a cheerleader and be a part of their growing process. As the Lord tends to us; we also plant seeds, water and watch them grow. The Lord has entrusted us with the important task of loving and growing His little ones. He isn't looking for perfect people to teach them. He is looking for people to serve as He did and love as He loves. And, that is what we are asking! We are in need of fun, mature, and passionate volunteer leaders who share in our vision: to see middle and high school students exploring Christianity deeply, taking ownership of their faith in Jesus, thriving in a loving community, and participating in God’s mission in and through the church for Portland and beyond.

Local OutreachRelief Ministries Team - If you have a heart for serving our friends on the streets or helping people that are in need of food or clothing, then the Relief Ministries Team is the place for you. We serve through the Love Shack handing out clothing, food, toiletries and the most important of all a heart full of love. The material things we hand out are second to the love and acceptance we share to show people that every one matters to Him and to us. If you are interested in serving out on the streets or in the clothing room (sorting and labeling).
